Stephen Cotterell at work
I invited a portrait photographer Stephen Cotterell to a project documenting people at work. I chose Stephen knowing his passion for photography, life curiosity and his love for people. My aim was to show the way he works creating a safe space for photographed people, letting them open up in front of him and his camera.
The models were a boxer and a ballerina photographed in a boxing club. Stephen has never met them before apart from exchanging few emails. I was an invisible observer documenting moments of unfolding energy between this trio. You can see the results of Stephen's amazing work on his website: StephenCotterell.com
That day a boxing club in London became for me a background of a beautiful visual dance.
